Claire Liu, MSocSc (Clin.Psy), RCC (She/Her)
MSocSc (Clinical Psychology), Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
In times of struggle and uncertainty, it’s essential to know you don’t have to face things alone. Many people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed or lost, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Together, we’ll create a safe and trusting space where you can be yourself- where your feelings, thoughts and experiences are truly valued. I believe that healing happens in relationships, and we can navigate life’s challenges to find new paths toward hope and meaningful change.
My approach is compassionate and tailored to your needs. I draw from effective methods like EMDR, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices. By exploring the connections between your emotions, thoughts, and body, I’ll help you transform distress into insight and rediscover your strength.
I hope that in our sessions, you feel genuinely understood and supported. Therapy is not about erasing the past; it’s about gently loosening its hold so you can move forward with clarity and self-compassion. Many clients leave feeling lighter and more equipped to handle life’s challenges.
My goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strengths and create a fulfilling life. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported on your journey toward healing and growth.

More Than Just My Work
Outside of counselling, I enjoy yoga, hiking, and camping, which help me stay grounded and connected to nature. I also love spending time with my family and playing with our two cats, who never fail to bring joy and laughter into my day.
